Position Summary As an Experienced Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative - MasterTax at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in providing high-quality tax service to our clients. You'll serve as the front-line for solving clients' challenges, including issue resolution, answering questions, and helping clients navigate our products and services. Depending on your specific team or role, you'll use phone, email, or chat-based communication to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Don't worry if you have no prior tax experience; we'll train you to set you up for success! To thrive in this role, you must be comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment as part of a structured day. Adaptability, empathy, self-motivation, and organization are must-haves in this job. You'll need to balance your workload, handle back-to-back inquiries, and focus on what's important. Responsibilities As an Experienced Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative - MasterTax, your key responsibilities will include: * Be the Tax Expert: Assist clients with tax deposits and filing, and manage inquiries from state and federal agencies. * Be a Trusted Advisor and Problem Solver: Use your breadth of expertise to help clients solve problems by taking a broad perspective to resolve issues and provide solutions. * Build Relationships: Build relationships with clients using phone, email, and/or chat, striving to exceed client expectations in every interaction. * Provide Solutions and Recommendations: Leverage your arenaflex product & services knowledge to provide solutions to issues and questions, and help build client understanding around our products' value. * Demonstrate Client Focus: Place a strong focus on client satisfaction, assisting clients to troubleshoot and resolve payroll and tax issues in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications Required To succeed in this role, you'll need: * At least one year of client service and/or call center experience OR a minimum of two years of Insurance/Financial Institution experience. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate clearly and quickly to summarize a problem and explain a solution. * Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as excellent analytical and time management skills. A college degree is great, but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates who have: * Experience in a client service environment, arenaflex payroll and 401(k) experience is preferred. * Demonstrates strong oral/written communication skills, strong listening skills, and the ability to learn quickly. * Utilizes tools to support daily functions such as Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and demonstrates ability to learn other proprietary system tools (Omni Plus, Power Image, and Clarify). * Ability to learn quickly, function in a fast-paced environment, and work on multiple projects simultaneously. * Proven relationship-building skills, strong time-mgmt, organization, and problem-solving skills. * Demonstrates strong presentation skills and ability to coordinate and take the lead on conference calls. * Ability to gauge client satisfaction through scheduled surveys, client visits, and day-to-day interaction. * Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in education and experience.
