As an Information Technology Audit Associate, you will focus on technology-based compliance engagements, working on projects that include SOC reporting and ISO standards while helping clients strengthen their security and compliance postures.
Responsibilities
- Test technology-related controls to assess their effectiveness and identify any exceptions or control gaps
- Participate in internal control audits by assisting with planning, testing, reporting, and project administration
- Learn and apply knowledge of clients' technical platforms, operations, processes, and control environments to your projects
- Work with the engagement team to develop and communicate recommendations for process improvements
- Contribute to a positive work environment by building strong relationships with team members
- Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback to support your learning and development
- Manage deadlines effectively, understanding that additional hours may be required to complete work during peak periods
Skills
- A minimum of 24 semester or 36 quarter units of post-secondary courses with a focus on Technology Audit, Management Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, or Cybersecurity. These units can be from a Bachelor's, Master's, or an accredited diploma or certificate program
- 0-2 years of experience
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 preferred
- Commitment to passing the CISA exam
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational, analytical, and written/oral communication skills
