Job Description Financial Operations & Reporting Oversee all general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes. Prepare, review, and present financial statements to North American leadership and ROVEMA GmbH headquarters. Cost Accounting & Inventory Management Collaborate with Operations and Service teams to evaluate cost of goods sold (COGS), spare parts inventory, and project-related costs. Maintain standard costing systems, perform variance analysis, and ensure accurate inventory valuation. Lead cycle counts and annual physical inventory, and provide financial oversight for capital expenditures and ROI assessments. Compliance, Controls & Audit Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal policies by maintaining strong internal controls. Lead audit activities, including coordination with internal and external auditors, and manage supporting documentation. Oversee tax compliance in partnership with external providers, and maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. Planning, Forecasting & Strategic Analysis Drive the budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning initiatives. Develop financial models to support pricing strategies, business expansion, and capital investment decisions. Enhance consolidated reporting packages and continuously improve close and reporting processes. Treasury, Systems & Leadership Manage treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity, payments, AR/AP, and payroll accounting. Lead and develop the accounting team while driving process improvements and ERP optimization. Establish scalable processes and ensure alignment with ROVEMA GmbH on policies and intercompany accounting practices. The Successful Applicant • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred. • * 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller‑level or senior accounting leadership role. • * Background in capital equipment, industrial machinery, packaging, or manufacturing environments is highly preferred. • * Strong GAAP expertise with proven experience managing financial audits and tax compliance. • * Hands‑on ERP proficiency required, ideally with systems commonly used in distribution or manufacturing settings. • * Experience working within a subsidiary or multi‑entity structure, especially with international parent company reporting, is a plus.
