This is a remote position. Title:  Independent Recruiting Consultant  Terms:  Full-Time Location:  Metro-DC (Remote)  Clearance:  None We are seeking a seasoned Independent Recruiter to support a wide variety of our client's talent acquisition needs. Ideally, this person should have some combination of third-party staffing agency experience and in-house corporate recruiting expertise and account management — with a strong command of the GovCon talent landscape. This is a high-impact, fractional role with direct influence on the firm's growth and talent strategy. Key Responsibilities •    Support the sourcing and recruitment lifecycle across a variety of technical, functional, and cleared positions •    Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define job requirements, and craft targeted recruitment strategies •    Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, employee referrals, and personal networks •    Conduct thorough initial screenings to evaluate candidates against technical requirements, clearance eligibility, and cultural fit •    Coordinate and schedule interviews, manage candidate pipelines, and ensure timely follow-up at every stage of the process •    Serve as a trusted advisor to both hiring managers and candidates throughout the hiring process •    Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff Requirements Basic Qualifications: - A minimum of four years of full-life cycle recruiting ideally in the government contracting space - Highly comfortable sourcing and screening candidates utilizing a variety of tools and techniques - Proven ability to effectively manage candidate pipelines and facilitating progression of candidate lifecycle - Experience developing and executing proactive recruitment sourcing, engagement and branding strategies - Highly communicative and vigilant about maintaining communication and applicant tracking systems - Must have experience conducting intake calls with hiring mangers, extracting information from stakeholders and other team members - Excellent business acumen and strong attention to detail - Must have a background in understanding how to identify inefficiencies in all stages of the hiring processes and provide feedback to leadership - Thorough understanding of federal procurement process of government contracts Preferred Qualifications: - Background in both 3rd party staffing and corporate recruiting - Highly experienced in candidates sourcing techniques, tools etc. Benefits As an independent consulting position, there are no benefits associated with this position.
