What You'll Do • Evaluate applications and supporting documents to assess risk and determine eligibility for coverage. • Make underwriting decisions based on established guidelines, pricing strategies, and risk appetite. • Collaborate with senior underwriters to review complex cases or escalate exceptions. • Ensure accurate documentation and input of underwriting decisions into internal systems. • Assist with identifying trends or patterns in underwriting outcomes and contribute ideas for process improvements. • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., sales, claims, operations) to support a consistent and efficient customer experience.
