Key Responsibilities
Problem Framing and Solution Exploration
- Engage agency stakeholders to understand business problems, user needs, and current processes.
- Structure problem statements and identify suitable solution approaches using GovTech products, commercial SaaS, low-code tools, or AI-assisted approaches where relevant.
- Guide agencies in comparing options and making informed decisions based on fit, effort, constraints, and likely value.
- Help agencies avoid unnecessary custom builds by identifying existing reusable solutions and practical alternatives.
Solution Assessment and Validation
- Support agencies in evaluating solution options through structured discussions, walkthroughs, and simple prototypes.
- Translate business requirements into high-level solution approaches rather than detailed system design.
- Highlight key considerations such as integration needs, data requirements, security constraints, scalability, and implementation dependencies.
- Provide practical recommendations on what is feasible within the agency's context and what may require further assessment or support.
Vibe Coding Workshops and Enablement
- Plan and run hands-on workshops and clinics to support CIO teams and agency users in experimenting with vibe coding approaches.
- Guide participants in translating business ideas into simple working prototypes using AI-assisted or low-code tools.
- Answer technical and implementation-related questions during workshops in a clear and practical manner.
- Provide real-time support to unblock teams during experimentation and help them progress toward usable prototype outcomes.
- Help agencies understand where vibe coding is useful, where it is less suitable, and what guardrails should be considered before broader adoption.
Facilitation and Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate workshops with mixed audiences, including business users, IT teams, and leadership stakeholders.
- Drive discussions toward clear outcomes such as a refined problem statement, shortlisted solution options, or validated prototype directions.
- Manage ambiguity, differing stakeholder views, and incomplete requirements in a structured and practical way.
- Communicate clearly without over-relying on technical jargon.
Knowledge Capture and Reuse
- Document common use cases, solution patterns, frequently asked questions, and lessons learnt from agency engagements.
- Capture recurring issues or barriers faced by CIO teams during prototyping or onboarding.
- Contribute to playbooks, templates, workshop materials, and enablement content to support scaling across agencies.
Required Experience
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in business analysis, solution consulting, digital transformation, or similar roles.
- Experience working with SaaS, COTS, or low-code platforms in a functional, solutioning, or implementation support capacity.
- Experience conducting workshops, discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, or solution evaluation discussions.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical solution approaches and recommendations.
- Basic technical understanding of APIs, integrations, data structures, workflow automation, and identity/access concepts.
- Ability to answer practical technical questions without needing to perform deep engineering or extensive coding.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, Outsystems, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience supporting prototyping, low-code development, or AI-assisted solutioning approaches.
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments.
- Experience running training sessions, technical enablement workshops, or hackathon-style working sessions.
Desired Attributes
- Strong facilitation skills and confidence in running workshops with mixed audiences.
- Structured thinker who can break down ambiguous problems into actionable next steps.
- Pragmatic and outcome-focused, with a bias toward what can work in practice.
- Comfortable engaging both business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Able to handle live questions confidently while keeping discussions grounded and practical.
