**Key Responsibilities**
As a Ramp Agent, you'll be responsible for:
* Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections by guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions.
* Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather conditions.
* Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion.
* Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination.
* Working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
**Work Environment and Schedule**
As a Ramp Agent, you'll work in a dynamic environment with varying shifts, including early morning, evening, and overnight shifts. You'll be required to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, based on operational needs and your seniority. Our stations are located in various airports, and you'll be responsible for adhering to airport-specific requirements, such as obtaining a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.

**What You Need to Succeed**
To be a successful Ramp Agent, you'll need:
* Consistently prioritizing safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
* Embracing diverse people, thinking, and styles.
* Possessing a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
* Being at least 18 years of age and having authorization to work in the United States.
* Having a valid driver's license.
* Proficiency in English.
* Passing a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video.
* Ability to wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.
* Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal.
