**About the Role**
We're seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to join our AWS IT Services Support team, which provides highly-available IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in defining the perfect customer experience and owning the strategies to create that experience. You'll work closely with local and remote resources to develop and leverage our knowledge base, expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, and identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage local and/or remote resources to provide highly-available IT support for arenaflex employees worldwide
- Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and owning the strategies to create that experience
- Develop and leverage our knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
- Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
- Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
- Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical and business problems
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement
**Essential Qualifications**
- 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
- 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
- Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with data entry and management systems
