Job Summary As a Pharmacist Centralized Services at Walgreens, you will be responsible for executing patient intervention pharmacy programs, driving pharmacy financial performance, and fostering strong relationships with clinical networks. This role involves remote work, with a focus on prescription processing, patient care, and pharmacy operations. You will serve as a knowledgeable authority and resource to other pharmacists and field leaders, staying current with industry developments and maintaining required licensure. Key Responsibilities Execute direct patient care programs, including Drug Therapy Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Programs. Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in clinical pharmacy patient care and services. Optimize pharmacy financial performance by implementing patient intervention pharmacy programs. Enhance patient experience by focusing on healthcare services, such as patient consultations, prescription management, and health and wellness programs. Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership. Conduct data and clinical reviews to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions. Review medication records and patient profiles to ensure safe and effective medication therapy. Offer clinical advice and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as needed. Perform other duties consistent with the job responsibilities as assigned by management. Essential Qualifications Current pharmacist licensure as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority. Experience in motivating colleagues to research and resolve issues. Ability to work with confidential information. Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong time management skills, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. Experience in providing customer service to internal and external clients. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within and out of state). Preferred Qualifications Willingness to obtain additional state pharmacy licenses if necessary. Knowledge of insurance plans and pharmacy benefits. Proficiency in PC operating systems, including workflow and patient management software. Basic level of expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
