**The Role**
As a Data Science Director, you'll lead the Global Data Strategy group within Risk Finance, responsible for developing and implementing centralized reporting capabilities, process enhancements, and automation. Your primary objective will be to drive revolutionary information solutions that provide strong forecasts and analytics for the wider Risk Finance organization. You'll work closely with Senior Management, Risk Management, local Finance, and business groups to develop and deliver credit-associated analytical aid, driving business and risk decisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead the strategic evaluation of arenaflex credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve for Senior Management in Risk and Finance
* Own precise information assets/packages within Risk Finance, and become a subject matter expert of the applicable tools (troubleshoot issues, reconcile results, identify enhancements and automation possibilities, and teach other customers to drive adoption)
* Develop and maintain preferred and ad-hoc reviews used by Risk Finance and/or business partners; provide credit-associated analytical aid
* Develop and present key analyses and recommendations to Senior Management
* Build and maintain relationships throughout Risk Finance portfolio groups and with partners in Risk, Controllership, Tech, etc.
* Provide selection-aid with a strong emphasis on growing analytics that identify trends and opportunities within the portfolio which can be used to optimize Business and Risk decisions
**Essential Qualifications**
* Advanced experience working with a combination of the following is required: SQL/Hive, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R, VBA, TM1
* Experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint required
* Experience in ML modeling is a plus
* Solid economic and analytical skills; ability to work with large units of data and draw significant conclusions, empowering our business partners to make smart, data-driven decisions
* Superior attention to detail, alongside exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills
* Must be results-driven and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within tight timelines
* Desire to work on ambiguous tasks, growing clarity while achieving successful and significant outcomes
* A strong work-ethic and strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to build and maintain relationships and successfully collaborate with team members to achieve goals
* Experience working with a sophisticated level of Excel and PowerPoint required
* Master's degree in advanced mathematics or statistical discipline required

**Compensation and Benefits**
The anticipated salary range for this role is $55.00 to $85.00 hourly + bonus + equity (if relevant) + benefits. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
