Introduction to arenaflex's Data Science and Engineering (DSE) Team

Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining the data pipelines, architectures, and tools that support arenaflex's business operations.
Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our Games DSE team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our games platform, working closely with our game studio partners to understand the types of data that need to be collected. You will also collaborate directly with our game development teams to gather telemetry from specific games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop efficient, scalable, and adaptable data pipelines to handle structured and unstructured data
- Gain a deep understanding of the emerging games space at arenaflex
- Partner with our game studio teams to develop high-level metrics for games (e.g., maintenance, etc.)
- Collaborate with Netflix's internal game studios (Night School, Next Games, Manager Battle, and Agile Fox) to ingest relevant metrics and game data into the arenaflex ecosystem
- Work with the Netflix SDK team and external game partners (e.g., Gameloft) to collect data through the arenaflex Games SDK
- Join a talented team of data engineers with diverse skill sets, working closely with data scientists and analysts to drive business insights
About You
We're looking for a motivated and talented individual who is passionate about building robust data products. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala, with at least 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in advanced SQL and experience with designing data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flink, etc.) on medium to large-scale datasets
- Experience with AWS cloud services (S3, EC2, RDS, etc.) and ability to design and deploy scalable data architectures
- Ability to take requirements and develop adaptable data models and pipelines
