Our team is comprised of talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, all working together to achieve a common goal: to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers. **Job Highlights** * **Job Type:** Full-time, remote data entry specialist position * **Start Date:** Immediate openings available * **Compensation:** Competitive salary * **Location:** Remote (work from home) * **Hours:** Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm PST **Responsibilities** As a data entry specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database * Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution * Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database * Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications * Following data program security practices and procedures at all times * Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily * Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required * Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations * Performing other duties as assigned **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications: * **Education and/or Experience:** High school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of 6 months related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience * **Experience in a Medical Office:** Preferred but not required * **Tech-Savviness and Attention to Detail:** Must be tech-savvy and detail-oriented * **Computer Skills:** Must possess complete knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone; must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet * **Typing Skills:** Must be a qualified typist with a minimum of 40 W.P.M. * **Communication Skills:** Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively, and asking questions where clarification is needed * **Confidentiality:** Must be able to maintain confidentiality * **Team-Oriented:** Must be able to demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * **Data Entry:** Accurate and efficient data entry skills * **Attention to Detail:** Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies * **Communication:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * **Problem-Solving:** Ability to resolve discrepancies and errors using standard procedures * **Time Management:** Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines * **Adaptability:** Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
