**About the Advanced Results Program**
The Advanced Results Program is a cutting-edge initiative that helps school districts achieve rapid results in just 10 weeks. By focusing on an iterative pattern of progress, we enable districts to achieve significant improvements in key areas such as education, math, graduation rates, and participation. As a Data Analyst – Information Examiner, you will play a critical role in supporting this program, working closely with our team to design, build, and maintain data for each individual test region, cycle, and BTR group.
**Job Responsibilities**
As a Data Analyst – Information Examiner, you will be responsible for:
* Working closely with our Advanced Results team to identify, record, and assemble data dashboards based on data needs for various clients
* Performing data transformation to prepare source data for effective data visualization in BTR data dashboards
* Managing multiple projects simultaneously across various clients and BTR programs
* Ensuring accurate, up-to-date, and precise portrayal of data to support Advanced Results group analysis of their work and progress against objectives
* Supporting BTR dashboard clients (e.g., DMGroup Internal team, Execution Mentors) in the effective use of dashboards for each BTR program
* Collaborating with BTR Partners to issue address data and data dashboards requests and ensuring timely resolution of data-related issues for specific projects
* Supporting ad-hoc analysis to understand patterns or additional insights across data sets before, during, and after BTR program cycles
* Working with internal BTR colleagues to continuously improve our products by identifying issues and improvements, performing root cause analysis, and collaboratively planning and developing solutions through iterative cycles
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in Data Analysis
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively
* Excellent project management, organizational, attention to detail, and decision-making abilities
* Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, including Talend, Pentaho, Sheets/Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Domo, Toucan Toco, and others
* Strong quality assurance practices, ownership, and pride in expectations to ensure alignment with, and progress of our clients
* Ability to collaborate with client data colleagues to serve project needs
* Ability to rapidly grasp client requirements and translate raw data into clear, meaningful data and insights
* Self-starter with comfort with ambiguity and fast change normal in early-stage product development and organization conditions
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to audiences at all levels and across all disciplines within an organization
* Collaborative person with experience working in a fast-paced, outcome-driven, cross-functional team with high-performing, highly energetic people
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Passion for education and experience working in education, specifically with district and school-based administration and staff
* Continuous learning attitude, eager to explore and adopt emerging technologies and approaches
* Experience working with large-scale education data sets
