**Job Description**
As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our company, providing exceptional support to our customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat. You'll be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing solutions that meet their needs. Your primary goal will be to deliver a positive experience that leaves a lasting impression and builds loyalty.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Offer friendly support to and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers
* Work in a helpful spirit to ensure the success of our organization
* Provide excellent customer support to individuals planning to travel, use freight or baggage services by addressing their needs
* Handle any aspect of tagging and registration by working a mechanized retail location system, boarding, baggage services, reservations, and resolving related grievances and issues
* Responsibilities include greeting and handling customers in a courteous and friendly manner
* Handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets
* Calculate charges, make change, and balance daily transactions
* Be responsible for overage or deficiency
* Inspect baggage and freight
* Answer phone calls to provide information to guests, page customers, resolve issues or complaints, and assist on a case-by-case basis
* Handle transactions necessary to load the plane in a convenient and efficient manner
* Manage upset customers due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage
* Resolve such issues quickly and within rules established by the organization
* Provide current and accurate flight information, schedules, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answer general questions from customers and other guests at the airport
* Complete forms and reports as required by the organization
* Write incident and complaint reports as needed
* Responsibilities may vary due to the size and association of the station
* Should be able to meet any physical demands listed on this description
* May perform other work duties as directed by Representative's Supervisors
**Information, Abilities, and Competencies**
* Ability to type as well as use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job
* Able to understand records, follow guidelines, learn and comprehend tagging techniques, rules, and regulations
* Ability to work with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances
* Should be able to complete the Customer Support Representative training program with an 80% or higher average and an assessment period
* Should be aware of hazardous situations and be able to handle crises on a case-by-case basis
* Should work under close time requirements to achieve fast turnaround of planes
* Should present a well-groomed appearance in understanding the Ground Service Representative Handbook and Work Understanding
* Should be able to perform all job duties within a confined space
* Should be able to communicate verbally by phone, face-to-face, and on public address systems effectively
* Should have good written and oral communication skills
* Should be able to convey information and instructions verbally or through radio equipment
