Our team is passionate about travel and committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients via telephone. You will assist with hotel, rental car, and flight reservations, as well as handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. You will also be responsible for following policy and procedure guidelines, reviewing customer history as necessary, and documenting information and outcomes as required. **Key Responsibilities** * Answer incoming calls from customers * Review customer history as necessary to provide personalized service * Follow policy and procedure guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient service * Assist customers with changing travel plans, confirming or obtaining their itinerary, requesting refunds, or reporting travel issues * Process refunds and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner * Place outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues * Document information and outcomes as necessary to ensure accurate record-keeping **About You** We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team. Prior customer service experience is required, and experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products is preferred. Successful Customer Service Representatives possess excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. **Essential Qualifications** * Prior customer service experience * Strong geographical knowledge * Excellent customer service skills * Strong attention to detail * Easy to work with * Accepts feedback well * Excellent listening and communication skills * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills * Demonstrates empathy effectively * Self-directed * Able to organize, prioritize, anticipate situations, act, and see issues through to completion * Able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment * Strong typing skills * Highly proficient in using the internet and navigating seamlessly between multiple applications **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products * Strong typing skills (at least 40 wpm) * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred **Equipment Requirements** To be a successful Customer Service Representative, you will need a computer and equipment meeting the following specifications, at a minimum: * Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite) * Operating System: Windows 10 * Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above * Memory: 8GB of RAM * Hard Drive: 256GB * Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome * Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels * Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) * Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software * Headset: USB noise-canceling headset **Work Environment** As a remote-friendly company, we offer flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.
