With more than 80 years of experience behind us, we're continuously innovating to drive health care forward while meeting the needs of our members and state. **Responsibilities:** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary customer interface for inquiries, handling incoming phone calls, and serving as a member advocate. You'll use established best practices, attend ongoing training, and utilize resources and tools to serve as an expert in navigating the challenging world of insurance. Our representatives must be talented, dedicated people who possess a passion for providing best-in-class service and want to make a difference in the lives of our members. **Key Responsibilities:** * Interface with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail * Research customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues * Elevate sensitive customer requests when necessary * Comply with State and Federal regulations and mandates, which are continually changing, thus creating a very dynamic environment * Accountable to remain current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability **Requirements:** * High School Diploma or Equivalent * Three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred) * Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length * Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation is a plus **Preferred Qualifications:** * Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation * Experience in a health insurance or related field **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary * Benefits package (Health Benefits effective 1st of the month following start date) * Opportunities for career growth and development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **Work Environment:** As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the state of Nebraska or the local Omaha metro area. Our virtual training is interactive, and you'll be required to have a reliable internet service provider and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace. **Training Schedule:** * 9-12 weeks of live virtual training: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Central Time Zone), Monday to Friday * Virtual training is interactive, and camera and audio will be utilized for training purposes **Work Schedule:** * After training, you must be able to work any 8.5-hour shift between 7:30 am-6:00 pm (Central Time Zone), Monday to Friday **How to Apply:** If you believe you have what it takes to join our team, submit your application without delay.
