**Job Summary:**
We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative & Safety Technician to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our safety program, you'll be responsible for efficiently and effectively responding to customer requests for service regarding EP/Safety products and services. You'll work closely with our Safety Coordinator to ensure all paperwork is completed in accordance with governing agencies, and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Respond to customer requests for service regarding EP/Safety products and services in a timely and efficient manner
* Collaborate with the Safety Coordinator to ensure all paperwork for the safety program is completed accurately and in accordance with governing agencies
* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person requests
* Maintain accurate records and reports, including but not limited to, customer interactions, safety incidents, and program compliance
* Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date on safety protocols and procedures
* Assist with the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Safety Coordinator or management
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Some college or applicable work experience with excellent computer skills
* Previous clerical/secretarial experience within a customer-focused, team-based environment, preferably in healthcare
* Some knowledge of NFPA and Joint Commission standards preferred
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency in using office equipment, including but not limited to, facsimiles, computers, photocopiers, telephones, 2-way radios, paging systems, etc.
* Proficient in computer skills with at least 50-60 wpm typing skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a healthcare setting
* Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
* Experience with safety software and systems
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
