**The Role**
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of our progressive house calls program, working remotely in EST or CST. You will be responsible for:
* Calling members to schedule in-home visits with a Physician or a Nurse Practitioner
* Answering inbound calls from members and assisting them with their inquiries
* Ensuring that appointments are scheduled accurately and resolving any scheduling issues or concerns
This is a high-volume, customer service environment that requires efficiency, productivity, and thoroughness when dealing with our members over the phone. You must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours.
**Training and Development**
We offer 8 weeks of paid training, which will be conducted virtually from your home. During training, you will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role. Our comprehensive training program includes:
* Virtual training sessions

**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* 1+ years of work experience
* Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (create/edit/save/send documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence)
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
* Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00am – 5:30pm local time. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in the health care industry
* Experience working with Medicaid or Medicare
* Experience working in a customer retention-focused role
**Soft Skills**
* Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens
* Experience working in a metric-driven work environment
* Experience using an auto dialer system
**Telecommuting Requirements**
* Reside within Eastern or Central Time Zone
* Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
* Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
* Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
**Compensation and Benefits**
The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors, including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
