Databricks Analyst Location: Remote (Boston, MA) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Databricks Analyst to support data analytics and financial reporting initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong finance or accounting background who has hands-on experience leveraging Databricks for data transformation, analysis, and reporting. You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to build scalable data solutions, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and analytical workflows in Databricks • Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation across financial systems • Build dashboards, reports, and financial models to support FP&A and accounting functions • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance standards are met • Support automation of financial reporting processes • Document processes, data flows, and technical solutions Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field • 3–5 years of hands-on experience using Databricks • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and reporting processes • Experience with SQL and data modeling • Experience working with large datasets and structured/unstructured data • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting FP&A, controllership, or audit functions • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Experience integrating ERP or financial systems with Databricks • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
