About The Opportunity
Netrix Global is looking for a Data Engineer for the Professional Services – Data Intelligence department, with Data Quality skills whose role will be to support the Data Governance program through the execution, supervision, and continuous improvement of data quality controls, ensuring compliance with business-defined rules, metrics, and standards. The Data Engineer act as critical members of the data science team. Their tasks involve researching, building, and designing the artificial intelligence responsible for machine learning and maintaining and improving existing artificial intelligence systems.
Often, a Data Engineer will also serve as a critical communicator between other data science team members, working directly with the data scientists who develop the models for building AI systems and the people who construct and run them.

How You Will Make An Impact
- Create and implement data quality rules using SQL and Python within the AWS environment.
- Develop and maintain data quality alerts and communicate issues to the relevant data owners.
- Monitor the proper functioning of the established quality controls.
- Report issues, track their resolution, and validate the adjustments made.
- Follow up on quality adjustments reported to data owners.
- Support the implementation of the data quality framework and model defined by the organization.
- Propose new data quality rules, metrics, and indicators.
- Propose improvements to existing quality processes based on technical and business analysis.
- Evaluate and recommend data quality and data profiling tools and techniques.
- Propose and analyze indicators that measure the performance and evolution of the data quality framework.
- Oversee data quality initiatives within the AWS platform
- Maintain ongoing communication with technical and architecture teams to understand technological advancements and their impact on data quality.
- Apply sensitive data management criteria, including privacy, classification, and obfuscation.
- Ensure compliance with data management regulations and best practices.
What You Will Bring To The Table
- Experience in Data Quality.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Experience with AWS environments.
- Knowledge of data quality controls, rules, metrics, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of data profiling and data analysis.
- Experience in designing quality reports and dashboards (Power BI or other tools) is desirable.
- Data Governance and Frameworks
- Knowledge of data regulations and sensitive information management
- Desirable: General knowledge of data management frameworks: DAMA-DMBOK (intermediate level desirable). DCAM (desirable)
Location
Argentina (any part of the country its great for us!)
Shift
9 a.m to 6 p.m from Monday to Friday
