The Cybersecurity Resilience and Governance Analyst ensures that the organization operates within regulatory frameworks and industry standards while mitigating legal and regulatory risks through the refinement of cybersecurity policies and procedures. Responsibilities - Own the annual Policies & Standards refresh cycle for the US Segment: intake, tracking, review coordination, feedback submission, decision logging, and implementation readiness - Identify and engage relevant SMEs across the US Segment; synthesize input and provide effective challenge to L2 Risk; secure clarifications and document outcomes - Distinguish material vs. immaterial changes; align timelines with governance and approval cadences; monitor adoption and close-out actions - Build and deliver executive-ready reporting (status, risks, decisions, timelines) across departments; manage cadence, content quality, and on-time delivery - Maintain transparent stakeholder communications and readiness plans; socialize upcoming changes, impacts, and key dates - Oversee CRG collaborative tools (trackers, dashboards, repositories) and ensure information is current, accurate, and accessible - Identify opportunities to streamline the refresh lifecycle through automation, standardized templates, and repeatable review routines - Implement data visualization and workflow enhancements to improve traceability from proposal to approval to implementation Skills - Prior experience working in technology, risk or compliance - Bachelors degree - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) is required - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential for effectively gathering and presenting data - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - The candidate must be highly organized, capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment, and able to manage multiple priorities - Problem solving with an eye towards innovation and process improvement - A positive work attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment - The candidate should be capable of building relationships with other risk team members and handling ad-hoc requests or inquiries as needed Benefits - Health - Dental - Mental health - Vision - Short- and long-term disability - Life and AD&D insurance coverage - Adoption/surrogacy and wellness benefits - Employee/family assistance plans - Various retirement savings plans (including pension and a global share ownership plan with employer matching contributions) - Financial education and counseling resources - Generous paid time off program in Canada includes holidays, vacation, personal, and sick days - Full range of statutory leaves of absence Company Overview - Manulife is a leading international financial services group that helps people make their decisions easier and lives better.
