Job title: Customer Care & Support Specialist (m/f/d) – EV Charging Location: Germany (remote) Job reference #: 33220 Contract type: Permanent Language requirements: German (native or C1) and English (C1). Italian is a plus. Plenitude On The Road (POTR) is looking for a motivated Customer Care & Back Office Specialist to support our daily operations in the fast-growing electric vehicle charging industry. Part of the Eni Group, POTR is a leading charging infrastructure operator in Italy and is rapidly expanding across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Spain. You will be part of the Germany & Austria Region (DAT), based in Germany, with occasional meetings at POTR headquarters in Italy and at regional offices in Germany and Austria. In this role, you will contribute to customer operations, back-office processes and internal coordination with technical, operational and business development teams. You will also support project-related activities and ensure high-quality customer communication and documentation, particularly for German-speaking users. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is keen to gain experience in customer operations, e-mobility and energy infrastructure. The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills in German, as well as very good verbal and written skills in English. Knowledge of Italian and other European languages will be considered an advantage. About Plenitude On The Road S.R.L. Main responsibilities: Customer Care Coordination - Monitor the performance and quality of the external customer support hotline - Review and continuously improve German‑language customer communication and documentation - Closely cooperate with the Customer Care team in Milan to ensure alignment on processes, responses and service quality - Analyse recurring customer issues and support improvements in customer service processes - Organise, monitor and coordinate end‑customer activities at points of sale (charging locations), providing feedback and insights to relevant internal departments Back Office Operations - Support customer account management and related administrative activities - Maintain and update data in internal systems and CRM tools - Review and verify invoices from Distribution System Operators (DSOs) and electricity suppliers Invoice & Financial Administration - Create purchase orders in the ERP system and support the Delivery and AFC teams with invoice validation - Support internal processes related to invoice verification and documentation - Assist with financial evaluations related to offers, invoices and budgets - Coordinate invoice‑related topics with the Back Office team in Milan and the Operations team Business Development Support - Support the Business Development team with operational and financial processes related to charging site partnerships - Review and verify invoices from hosts (landowners / leasing partners) for charging locations - Calculate variable land lease payments based on contractual agreements and charging volumes - Prepare invoices for B2B customers where applicable - Support the calculation of volume‑based rebates or discounts for B2B customers in line with contractual agreements Project & Engineering Support - Support the Engineering (ENG) team with project coordination activities - Maintain and update project activities in the Monday project management tool - Assist with tracking project progress and ensuring accurate and complete documentation Process Improvement - Identify recurring operational or customer service issues and contribute to continuous process improvement - Support the optimisation of internal workflows and documentation Skills and experience required: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Energy Management, Communications or a related field (or comparable training) - Initial experience in customer operations, administration, financial support or project coordination is an advantage - Experience with SAP for invoice verification is an advantage - Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Monday) is a plus - Experience with CRM or ticketing systems is beneficial - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace - Interest in financial monitoring and evaluations - Interest in e‑mobility, EV charging infrastructure or the energy sector - Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail - Ability to coordinate tasks across different teams and stakeholders - Proactive and structured working style - Customer‑oriented mindset - Languages: German (native or C1) and English (C1).
