Job Description: Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) Consultant Location: Remote (U.S.) Department: Epiq Advisory Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview The Consultant specializing in Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) will serve as a subject matter expert and administrator for client enterprise legal management systems, primarily TeamConnect and CounselLink. This individual will work as part of a client-facing delivery team, providing day-to-day system administration, eBilling management, and operational support to ensure efficient processing of invoices, accurate data management, and adherence to client playbooks and governance frameworks. The ideal candidate brings both technical and operational acumen in legal operations or law department management and is capable of working directly with corporate legal stakeholders in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. While not required, a background as a licensed attorney is considered a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Serve as primary administrator for enterprise legal management (ELM) platforms such as TeamConnect and CounselLink. Configure system settings, workflows, and user permissions in alignment with client governance and playbook guidelines. Manage integrations, data validation, and troubleshooting of user or system issues. Oversee and process incoming law firm invoices, ensuring compliance with client billing guidelines and proper coding. Clear invoice backlogs and manage daily triage of the eBilling mailbox to ensure timely review and payment cycles. Monitor matter and budget data for accuracy, flagging exceptions and recommending improvements. Collaborate closely with client legal operations and finance teams to support ongoing system optimization. Document new procedures, updates, and playbook changes to ensure consistency in future processing. Participate in transition support during system migrations (e.g., from TeamConnect to CounselLink). Maintain data hygiene and completeness across ELM systems. Generate and interpret standard and custom reports to assist clients in spend analysis and forecasting. Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and improvement in the legal spend management lifecycle. Provide feedback on playbook enhancements and participate in process re-engineering initiatives. Qualifications Required: 4+ years of experience in legal operations, law firm finance, or corporate legal administration. Hands-on experience with enterprise legal management (ELM) platforms such as TeamConnect, CounselLink, Serengeti Tracker, or TyMetrix 360. Strong understanding of legal billing, matter management, and vendor management workflows. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Ability to manage workload independently while adhering to client guidance and governance. Excellent communication and client service skills. Preferred: Experience supporting large, global corporate legal departments. Prior work in a managed solution or ALSP environment. Proficiency with Power BI, Excel, or similar data visualization/reporting tools. Additional Details Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (standard business hours). Environment: Remote, with collaboration across global delivery and client teams. Travel: Minimal (occasional client site visits or team meetings). Compensation: Competitive base salary with comprehensive benefits package; annual performance-based adjustments.
