Corporate Facilities | Industrial & Logistics Construction Engagement Type: Independent Consultant (1099) Compensation: Commission-Only | Non-Exclusive Location: Remote (U.S.-based relationships required) ⸻ About the Engagement Steady Solutions is a design-build general contractor delivering complex commercial and industrial projects across the Western U.S. We are seeking an independent Business Development consultant to originate private-sector construction opportunities with corporate facilities, industrial, and logistics organizations. This is a consulting engagement, not employment. We are looking for someone who already has relationships and can independently source qualified opportunities. You bring the relationships. We execute. ⸻ Scope of Work As an independent consultant, you will: • Leverage your existing network to introduce Steady Solutions to: • Corporate facilities and real estate leaders • Industrial and logistics operators • Private portfolio owners and asset managers • Originate opportunities tied to: • Active, budgeted capital projects • Programmatic and multi-site rollouts • Coordinate pursuit strategy with Steady leadership as needed You will not be responsible for estimating, project management, or post-award execution. ⸻ Compensation & Structure • Commission-only, percentage-based on awarded and executed projects • Independent contractor (1099) engagement • Non-exclusive — you may represent other firms, subject to confidentiality and conflict-of-interest requirements • Paid on work that is actually built ⸻ Ideal Consultant Profile • 10+ years in commercial / industrial construction, facilities, or CRE services • Existing relationships with private-sector decision-makers (VP Facilities, Director of Real Estate, Ops leadership) • Prior experience introducing GC or design-build services • Comfortable operating independently without oversight ⸻ This Engagement Is NOT For • Anyone seeking a salaried, hourly, or draw-based role • Junior BD, SDRs, or lead-generation profiles • Consultants focused on public works, municipalities, or government agencies • Sales professionals reliant on bid boards, RFP mills, or cold outreach ⸻ How to Respond When applying, briefly describe: • The types of private-sector clients you have relationships with • Your experience originating construction or facilities work • Why a commission-only, independent consulting model fits you
