What you'll do: The Principal Trainer is responsible for designing building, testing, as well as troubleshooting of application and technical issues related to training environments. Managing updates related to training, and conducting training for new staff, including Credentialed Trainers. The incumbent is responsible for achieving an in-depth understanding of the assigned software, policies and procedures, and workflows. This includes business and clinical analysis, instructional design, curriculum development, training, assessment, and evaluation; end user system documentation and application support; and building, testing, and maintaining the training environment. The Principal Trainer is an integral member of a project team and will participate in ongoing education and communication improvement efforts in order for end users to achieve optimal system functionality practices and ultimately quality patient care. What you'll receive: • A chance to utilize your passion for connecting with people at various organizational levels to ensure that they are prepared to perform their jobs. • Freedom to take ownership of your work and be a proactive problem solver. • Open communication amongst the team and leaders • A generous that includes medical, dental, PTO, retirement, discounts at local and national businesses is also provided. * Learn more here: What you'll have: • Bachelor's Degree Education, Healthcare, Communication, or related field plus 3 years of direct work experience or a minimum five (5) years of direct work experience in education or healthcare required. • Experience in instructional design and developing adult education programs designed to reach a diverse audience. • Working knowledge of adult learning theory, group dynamics, group facilitation, needs analysis, instructional design, program design and evaluation, and change management. • Strong technical writing skills (course content/outlines, training tools, participant materials, instructor guides and related documentation). • Excellent oral, written and one-on-one communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization. • Experience presenting effectively and confidently, tailoring delivery for desired results. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Captivate. • EPIC certification in assigned applications(s) highly preferred. • Epic credentialed trainer in one or more applications preferred. • Demonstrated experience with Epic TED (training environment design) and training tools highly preferred. • Previous experience in healthcare is preferred; familiarity with department or other clinical workflows is preferred.
