Milliman is an international consulting firm seeking a Business Development Manager to support its growing department in Omaha. The role focuses on driving new sales and revenue growth by building relationships with health insurance brokers and presenting consulting services. Responsibilities - Market, present, and sell our platform of consulting and underwriting services, especially Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRAs) - Build relationships with our primary prospects such as health insurance brokers - Work with Health Brokers to present product proposals and expand client referrals - Develop and implement acquisition strategies across various broker segments, leveraging the sales and marketing teams to present products - Communicate client expectations to our staff to ensure the delivery of our services and fees meets or exceeds our client’s expectations - Partner closely with Broker Strategy to leverage platform relationships and drive a feedback loop to enhance our product offerings to ensure attractiveness - Collect feedback from our clients and prospective clients to assist with the enhancement of existing products and development of new products Skills - Bachelors of Science in Business Administration or related field - 0-2 years previous experience within sales, especially exceeding sales targets - 0-2 years previous health plan experience - 0-2 years previous experience developing call lists, new distribution channels, and cold calling - 0-2 years previous insurance experience preferred but not required - Exceptional marketing, networking and communication skills.
