Position Overview As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for preparing and managing accurate and timely financial documents in line with reporting and general accounting. Joining the team at ground zero allows for both growth and variety. Not only will this role be undertaking bookkeeping & business insight services for our clients, but the opportunity to work alongside the Founders to set up financial systems & processes for Tactical Tradie. Responsibilities -Assist Tactical Tradie to set up & maintain their own best practice financial systems & processes -Recording transactions such as income and outgoings, and posting them to various accounts -Invoicing - review prior to processing (to ensure it matches our Supplier price list) -Payroll information preparation -Assist the workforce about payroll disputes and other pay related concerns? -Accounts Receivable and Payable which includes debtor follow up -Process payments as scheduled including supplier payments -Prepare and issue receipts -Balance sheet reconciliations - Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements -Maintain registers such as employee & asset -Conducting daily banking activities -Coordinate with clients about payment reminders and outstanding dues? -Explore workable solutions for clients with payment difficulties to help them fulfill payments? -Work on other financial management and administrative tasks as assigned -Prepare weekly / monthly business reports and insights as required? -The non negotiables -Solid XERO Bookkeeping & Xero add-on experience  -XERO Certification required -CPA or equivalent qualification required -Trade or construction business experience is highly regarded but not essential -Strong English communication skills and comprehension -Keen attention to detail and has reliable analytical skills with minimal error rate -Excellent team player -Working competency with administrative support tasks -Highly organised -Independent, self-sufficient, and highly resourceful -Values integrity and reliability -Has good initiative to always keep the client abreast
