What you'll do
The ideal candidate must possess the ability to lead and motivate a team of Renewal Specialists & Renewal Coordinators to achieve individual sales quotas. The Associate Manager must be able to measure, monitor and hold RM/RSs accountable for their activities and results as well as lead by example. They are also required to assist in making account calls with RM/RS's, assist in account health monitoring, and effectively maintain Docusign's value within accounts as well as deliver and coach through customer Quarterly Business Reviews. This leader should mentor each RS/RC individually while also building a strong cohesive, collaborative team. They are also responsible for monitoring forecasting efforts, churn and delivering on key quotas.
This position is a people manager role, reporting to the Manager, Renewal Management.
Responsibility
- Retain and renew GNMRR within the Docusign commercial business unit
- Develop and execute upgrade/renewal processes and strategies and ensures compliance to internal data management and reporting, including the use of Salesforce.com
- Assess sales activities and forecasts to determine sales progress and required improvements
- Recommend and implements improvements to achieve sales goals.
- Coach salespeople to develop their sales skills including vertical market management, forecasting, negotiations and other necessary skills while maintaining individual accountability to goals
- Maintain/protect Docusign core values by hiring culturally aligned team members and leading by example
- Provide value in complex negotiations and the closing of new business, including appropriate use of Account Executives to maximize results
- Work with each RS/RC to develop and implement vertical-wide business and sales plans to achieve sales quota
- Ensure the team effectively leverages sales tools and systems consistently and in alignment with clearly defined rules of engagement
- Communicate and prioritize product and business needs from the field to appropriate corporate departments
- Identiy and supports opportunities for the training and professional development of department personnel
- Operate well in a fast paced, dynamic environment without requiring significant supervision
Job Designation
Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring
Basic
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in relevant account management and leadership experience
- Minimum 18 months tenure at Docusign
- Fluency in English
Preferred
- Experience in people management or supervisory role, combined with significant renewal experience in commercial accounts in a high-growth SaaS organisation
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective business, sales and vertical market plans
- Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate and close complex contracts
- Demonstrated ability to successfully resolve situations that are broadly defined, complex, diverse and occasionally, unprecedented
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to identify new, creative ways to drive more businesses to purchase and utilize Docusign’s diverse solution suite
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary
Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary
Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary
Washington DC: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary
Ohio: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
- Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
