The Analyst - Environmental Health & Safety will manage data systems, conduct analysis, and produce reports to support the Environmental Health & Safety organization, ensuring compliance and effective decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reports for executive leadership and key stakeholders; leverage data and reporting outputs to generate insights into business and safety performance
- Build and maintain data sources and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs), enabling business leaders to monitor progress, measure success, and drive accountability across operations
- Analyze historical data and emerging trends to support strategic planning, forecasting, and proactive decision‑making related to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), workers’ compensation, and compliance
- Perform ad hoc data pulls, analysis, and visualizations in response to stakeholder requests, providing timely and accurate insights
- Serve as the system administrator for the Environmental Health & Safety platform, ensuring data quality, effective data capture, and a positive end‑user experience; identify and implement opportunities to improve system efficiency and usability
- Act as a subject matter expert for EHS‑related data, reporting structures, and metrics; support data governance and best practices
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders including Environmental Health & Safety, Workers’ Compensation, Compliance, and Operations to understand business needs and deliver data‑driven solutions
- Clearly communicate analytical findings, conclusions, and recommendations through written reports, dashboards, and presentations to audiences ranging from operational teams to executive leadership
- Additional duties as assigned to support the department and company
Skills
- Prior experience working in data, analytics, and/or systems management
- Advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard development
- Experience with analytic tools/software, ETL processes, and cloud database platforms
- Experience with SaaS administration
- Experience with AI to improve processes
- Demonstrated success wrangling, querying, curating, and deriving insights from large datasets
- Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication, adjusting message to audience
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate across multiple functions within an organization
