About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven eCommerce Merchandiser with advanced expertise in Amazon sales strategies and Amazon Vendor Central operations to join our rapidly expanding team. This full-time, remote position is designed for motivated professionals eager to build a long-term career in eCommerce, driving impactful growth across Amazon’s platform and optimizing the entire digital retail experience.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical acumen, strategic problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of Amazon’s ecosystem, including product listing optimization, Buy Box management, and A+ Content strategy. In this role, you will own and manage a portfolio of product categories within Amazon Vendor Central, with direct responsibility for driving sales growth, maximizing profit margins, and ensuring high-quality product visibility. You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain to refine pricing strategies, optimize promotional activities, prevent stockouts, and ultimately increase sales velocity and profitability on the Amazon marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Retailer Merchandising & Execution
• Own day-to-day merchandising and performance optimization within Amazon Vendor Central, driving sustained buy box ownership, conversion rate growth, and sales velocity through ongoing refinement of titles, bullets, A+ Content, imagery, specs, and pricing.
• Develop and execute data-driven promotional strategies leveraging Amazon tent-pole events (Prime Day, Peak, Deal Events) and seasonal trends, measuring impact through ROAS, contribution margin, and incremental lift.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product Development and Supply Chain to support new item launches, ensuring retail readiness, optimized content, accurate forecasts, and alignment with consumer demand insights.
• Monitor competitive landscape and category performance, using real-time data to adjust pricing, content, and promotional levers to maintain search visibility and category leadership.
• Conduct ongoing performance analysis to improve traffic, conversion, and inventory health, proactively identifying risks and opportunities within Amazon’s ecosystem.
Sales & Marketing Support
• Collaborate closely with Paid Search and Media teams to align SEO, content strategy, and retail media investments, using performance insights to improve discoverability and conversion across key keywords and categories.
• Analyze sales, traffic, and pricing trends using Amazon Retail Analytics, Brand Analytics, and third-party tools, translating insights into actionable merchandising and optimization strategies.
• Support strategic merchandising and revenue planning by leveraging predictive analytics, historical sales data, and promotional learnings to drive profitable growth.
• Ensure data integrity and content accuracy across Amazon listings by maintaining clean item setup, resolving catalog issues, and minimizing discrepancies that impact conversion or discoverability.
• Act as a key stakeholder in identifying and implementing site merchandising opportunities, including content enhancements, deal participation, and visibility-driving initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on Amazon eCommerce experience, with direct exposure to Amazon Vendor Central (or Seller Central) and day-to-day catalog, content, and performance management.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze large data sets and translate insights into action.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment, with exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset, comfortable testing, learning, and optimizing within Amazon’s evolving ecosystem.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and clearly present performance insights.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience using Amazon-native and third-party tools such as Amazon Brand Analytics, CIQ, Helium 10, or similar keyword and competitive intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) systems such as Salsify, and an understanding of maintaining clean, scalable product data.
• Working knowledge of Amazon SEO, digital merchandising best practices, and image/content optimization, including titles, bullets, A+ Content, and search-driven discoverability.
• Exposure to Amazon retail analytics, site merchandising opportunities, or promotional mechanics (e.g., Deals, Prime events, retail readiness).
