ACT Tutor Remote

We are looking for an experienced and committed ACT Tutor to provide one-on-one instruction to high school students preparing for the ACT. As a Remote ACT Tutor, you will lead engaging, personalized tutoring sessions through video conferencing platforms to help students reach their target ACT scores and strengthen their college admission opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver Personalized Instruction – Adapt teaching methods to match each student’s learning style and needs, focusing on the ACT English, Math, Reading, Science, and Writing sections. Develop and Execute Lesson Plans – Create structured lesson plans aligned with students’ academic goals and the ACT curriculum. Administer and Evaluate Practice Tests – Assign and oversee ACT practice exams, review results, and provide detailed feedback along with strategies for improvement. Monitor Student Progress – Regularly evaluate student performance and adjust instruction to ensure steady improvement. Encourage and Support Students – Help students stay motivated, confident, and focused throughout their ACT preparation. Stay Current on ACT Updates – Keep informed about ACT format changes, content updates, and effective test strategies to provide the most relevant guidance. Qualifications: Experience – 2 years of ACT tutoring experience is preferred, either in person or online. Strong knowledge of the ACT structure, content, and test strategies is required. Education – Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Mathematics, Science, or a related field. Technical Skills – Comfortable using online tutoring platforms such as Zoom or Google Meet, along with digital teaching tools. Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts. Availability – Flexible schedule to accommodate students across different time zones; evening or weekend availability may be needed. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated Results – Proven experience helping students significantly improve their ACT scores. Adaptability – Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels. Test Preparation Knowledge – Familiarity with additional standardized exams such as the SAT or PSAT is a plus.
