Looking for knowledgeable Health & Beauty Experts to join a short-term, project-based opportunity to a AI research company. Your expertise will directly inform and improve AI-powered consumer guidance. You'll work as an independent contractor, offering full flexibility to set your own hours. What You'll Do You will evaluate skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrance products to help a wide range of shoppers—from luxury buyers to value seekers—make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate Products: Assess products based on ingredient quality, formulation, shade/undertone fit, and hair type/texture suitability. Write Objective Recommendations: Create clear, concise reviews that include links, specifications, balanced Pros & Cons, and a specific "Who This Is For" section. Compare Options: Highlight value picks and premium standouts across various price points and retailers. Ensure Inclusivity & Safety: Evaluate products for suitability across diverse tones, textures, and sensitivities. You must avoid making medical or therapeutic claims and note any safety considerations. Refine AI Suggestions: Review and improve AI-suggested product choices by correcting, annotating, and adding essential context. Who We're Looking For (Qualifications) The ideal candidate has a strong, hands-on background in the beauty industry and a passion for clear, objective product analysis. Required: Direct Experience: A proven background in the beauty space, such as retail (e.g., Sephora/Ulta), salon work, MUA/esthetician experience, beauty editorial, or an advanced enthusiast track record. Objective Analysis Skills: Proven ability to evaluate products fairly and write clear, concise recommendations. Retail Fluency: Comfortable comparing products across different retailers and price tiers, and fluent with providing links, specs, and balanced pros/cons. Inclusivity Focus: Strong judgment regarding product claims and safety, with an inclusive mindset towards diverse needs. Bonus Points (Nice to Have): State license (esthetician or cosmetologist) Knowledge of fragrance taxonomy Expertise in textured-hair care
