Join our team and become part of a dynamic community that values teamwork, innovation, and customer satisfaction. **Responsibilities** As a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service through inbound and outbound communications, including phone, chat, social media, and email interactions * Working with customers daily to sustain and improve business relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement * Asking probing questions to identify customer issues or concerns, ensuring accurate account maintenance and updating of account information * Utilizing next call avoidance techniques to mitigate future questions and improve customer satisfaction * Scheduling delivery orders and handling basic negotiation skills for issues related to new and returning customers * Handling general customer issues, such as service order input, executing emergency scripts, closing uncontrollable loss accounts, and answering basic pricing questions * De-escalating customer situations by following our customer complaint resolution policy * Sending copies of statements and invoices to customers, performing soft collections for customers on credit hold or past due, and handling cash transactions and taking payments via the phone * Supporting the set-up of new customer accounts and meeting or exceeding minimum performance standards outlined in company policy **Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A High School Diploma or equivalent * 1 or more year(s) of customer service experience * Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills * Strong organizational skills with typing and data entry experience * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with company employees at all levels as well as customers * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access * U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or authorization to work in the United States * No requirement for sponsorship for an employment visa **Benefits** As a blithequark employee, you'll enjoy: * Competitive pay starting at $16.50, depending on experience * Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with generous company match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Paid Training * Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) * Opportunities for career growth and advancement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment * Collaborative team environment with a focus on teamwork, innovation, and customer satisfaction **What We Offer** At blithequark, we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth, learning, and success.
